ECR588 is a short shotgun electret condenser microphone with two matched capsules, designed for recording, as well as sound reinforcement applications on broadcasting and film/TV/video. It provides very much good off axis rejection a switch provide different applications requirement: "Normal" setting for close-to medium-distance recording; "Tele" for long-distance pickup.

Small and light ,9V to 52V DC phantom power or a 1.5V AA battery power requirement provide convenience applications at any condition especially outdoor recording or interviews
